isn't very difficult, to see why, you are the way you are.
doesn't take a genius, to realize that sometimes life is hard.
it's gonna take time, but you'll just have to wait.
you gonna be fine, but in the meantime...
come over here, lady, let me wipe your tears away.
come a little nearer, baby. cause you'll heal over, heal over,
heal over someday...
i love her music. i really connect with music and find it very theraputic actually. you can take out almost any emotion through a song.
love. derr. we all have a favorite love song. but the ones that get me are the ones not talking about love at all, and they still remind me of someone i have loved. past, present or even future.
agression, rock out on your leg guitar. did this yesterday with the kid an we were laughing in no time. works great.
passion. who doesn't associate a song with the moments they loved? a time, a place. so that when that song plays again you are momentarily banished from reality to enjoy the thrill of some great moment again.
angst. heck, there's tons of songs out there for people who still blame their parents for it all. we won't go there.
pride. those songs that make you feel like you can conquer the world in one swell foop. i love my grandpa, i remember him every time i talk funny. crazy.
hope. i love the song "beauty from pain" by superchick. although sad in its sound, it helps me to remember that even through it all, there is hope for something better.
i love music. i can get wrapped up for minutes or hours, it just depends on the day. but its funny how much i realized this when the hubby came home and "fixed" my ipod for me. there is bliss in music.
