what's up doc?

i have no idea what i am going to write about, but i am HAPPY. so there. i guess i will fill in the title when i think of one.

today was just a great day. i have been seeing a therapist. yes, i'm crazy, but we all knew that ;) for those of you who didn't, well, where have you been? its just that sometimes the life we lead seems to take on its very own "being" and in desperate need of taming we search out someone other than ourselves to assist. sometimes we cannot do it all alone. if anything, my training has taught me that much. so i've been seeing a therapist.

seems that 7 moves in 6 years, a crazy child a quacked mom make for a real doozy combination. but the neat thing about seeing someone isn't the hour of sanity, it isn't the talking, it's not even the feeling of safety (however those points are great ones) it is the day you get to say goodbye. today was my day.

i feel like robinhood after being given a whole new quiver of arrows. the lone ranger and a few more slugs. heck, bugs bunny and a bucket of carrots. its all good.

there is a sense of freedom that comes from having someone else sort your thoughts for you long enough to get good bearing. to boost your self-esteem until you feel confident enough to stand upon your own two feet. and encourage a relationship with God that you thought had fallen to the wayside. God is good to send us help in so many forms, some of them just to reinforce the knowledge that what God created is GOOD. you are good. you are worth every minute of God's time. and sometimes it takes another to see that through the filthy mire of this world.

i feel better for who i am, and glad to know what i am not. crazy only goes skin deep and then it hits gold. a gold worth refining by a Master worth worshiping. may you find your "quiver" today. or "carrots" even, if that be who you are.

God bless!

I like the opening line, "...but I am happy." People rarely admit to that anymore.

High-5 on saying 'good-bye'. Holla.
